The Jaw Crusher operates on a highly effective compression crushing principle. The crushing chamber consists of a stationary jaw plate and a movable jaw plate, forming a V-shaped cavity where the size reduction takes place.
Power is transmitted from the motor via V-belts to the heavy-duty flywheel, driving the eccentric shaft. As the eccentric shaft rotates, it forces the movable jaw to swing periodically towards and away from the stationary jaw.
When the movable jaw advances, the material is forcefully compressed, crushed, and split. When the jaw retreats, the crushed material falls by gravity through the adjustable discharge opening at the bottom, ensuring a continuous and steady production flow.
1.Material Feeding – Bulk material enters the V-shaped crushing chamber from the wide top opening.
2.Eccentric Motion – The motor drives the eccentric shaft, transferring powerful kinetic energy to the movable jaw.
3.Compression Crushing – The movable jaw forcefully presses the material against the fixed jaw, fracturing it under high pressure.
4.Gravity Discharge – As the movable jaw retracts, the properly sized material drops and exits the crushing zone.
5.Gap Adjustment – A mechanical or hydraulic adjustment system defines the bottom discharge gap, controlling the final product size.
