The PY Spring Cone Crusher is a classic and cost-effective solution designed for secondary and tertiary crushing of medium-hard to hard materials. Featuring a mechanical spring protection system, it automatically releases uncrushable materials to prevent damage and maintain operational stability.
Unlike hydraulic or fully automated cone crushers, the PY series adopts a traditional spring-based structure, offering simplified maintenance, lower investment costs, and dependable long-term performance. Its optimized crushing chamber design ensures consistent particle size distribution and reliable throughput across a wide range of mining and aggregate applications.
Built with a robust frame and wear-resistant components, the crusher is well-suited for continuous-duty operations in quarries, small to medium-sized mining sites, and aggregate production lines.

The PY Spring Cone Crusher operates through compressive crushing between a fixed concave (outer liner) and a moving mantle (inner cone). The eccentric sleeve rotates around the main shaft, causing the mantle to swing in a circular motion and continuously crush material within the chamber.
As material enters the crushing cavity, it is subjected to repeated compression and shearing forces until it reaches the desired size and exits through the adjustable discharge opening.
1. Material Feeding:Raw material is fed into the crushing chamber from the top opening.
2. Eccentric Rotation:The motor drives the eccentric sleeve, causing the mantle to perform a circular oscillating motion.
3. Compression & Crushing:Material is compressed between the mantle and concave, breaking down progressively undercontinuous pressure.
4. Spring Protection System:If uncrushable material enters the chamber, the spring mechanism allows temporary expansion toprevent equipment damage.
5. Discharge Regulation:The discharge opening is adjusted mechanically to control the final product size.
