The PFL Vertical Compound Crusher operates on a highly efficient two-stage reduction principle, integrating impact and hammer crushing within a single vertical cylindrical chamber. Bulk material is fed vertically from the top and falls directly onto the high-speed rotating upper rotor.

Driven by intense centrifugal force, the material is accelerated and violently thrown against the rugged inner impact liners. As the material continues to cascade downward through the chamber, it is subjected to rapid, successive strikes from multiple tiers of high-wear-resistant alloy hammers, causing continuous fragmentation and internal material-on-material collision.

A defining mechanical advantage of this process is its screenless bottom discharge design. Once the material is reduced to fine particles through these repeated impacts, it simply drops out of the machine by gravity. This free-flow mechanism effectively eliminates choking and clogging, even when processing materials with high moisture levels.
